Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band is central to the success of the program at Warren High School. Students in grades 9-12 are afforded the opportunity to rehearse during the school day and perform four concerts each year in October, December, March, and May.
As members of the Symphonic Band, students can also participate in Solo & Ensemble and a wide variety of Honor Bands across the state and in our area.
The Marching Arts
Warren is proud to offer two marching bands each Fall - The Marching Warriors and the Big Blue Machine.
Members of The Marching Warriors rehearse a rigorous show in preparation for competitive events throughout the Fall. They regularly compete in the OMEA and BOA circuits and compete at the Bands of America Grand Nationals annually.
Members of the Big Blue Machine include students who rehearse with The Marching Warriors one day a week to prepare a halftime show for Friday nights. These members also perform at local parades, school assemblies, and in the local community. Members of this ensemble are often students with other responsibilities on- and off-campus.
Jazz Ensemble
Students connect to one of America's greatest art forms in the Jazz Ensemble. This ensemble plays Jazz standards, funk, rock, and pop tunes. Members often find themselves getting out of their comfort zones quickly and enjoying making great music together.
In 2022, through the generosity of the Roberts Family, a Jazz Band was started at the Middle School. Students now have the opportunity to start playing Jazz in seventh grade!
Winter Programs
Students have a great opportunity at Warren to participate in marching arts during the winter months. The Winter Guard and Indoor Percussion ensembles are both a great opportunity to explore new sides of the art and to expand your experiences!
